Paralegals are the backbone of any law firm. They are specially trained professionals who help attorneys prepare their cases, keep clients informed, do critical research, and generally coordinate and keep cases on schedule. Debra is a paralegal to William R. Edwards and Angelina Beltran. She assists them in preparing for and attending trials. She has over 20 years of experience in the legal field and has been with The Edwards Law Firm since 2011. Her primary experience has been in the areas of personal injury, product liability, wrongful death, premises liability, barratry, trucking accidents, and other major vehicle accidents. She is a graduate of Del Mar College with an Associates of Applied Science-Legal Assisting and a graduate of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her son and daughter and loves to hunt and fish.
Lori is a paralegal to William R. Edwards, III. She assists him in preparing for and attending trials. She has over 30 years' experience in the legal field, and has been with The Edwards Law Firm since 2019. Her primary experience has been in the areas of personal injury, trucking accidents, motorcycle accidents, and labor and employment law. Lori is a graduate of Athens Area Technical Institute with an Associates of Applied Sciences in Paralegal Studies, a graduate of Samford University with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, and a graduate of Washington University School of Law in St. Louis with a Master's Degree in Legal Studies. She also is a certified paralegal through the National Federation of Paralegal Associations. Lori spends her spare time teaching as an adjunct instructor at the local junior college, and she enjoys spending time with her son and going to the beach.
