Laritza, who is currently pursuing a master’s degree, is bilingual and hopes to use her skills and unique perspective to become a compassionate and supportive counselor to children of immigrant families. Laritza appreciates the importance of mental health, especially within Hispanic communities, and hopes to make a difference in the lives of families who are struggling with assimilation and the stresses of everyday life.
